By Metro
--Take the Red Line to the Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan stop.
--Exit the station and walk north on Connecticut Ave (toward the National Zoo).
--Take a left onto Woodley Road and walk past several single-family homes.
--The church is on the right.
By Car
From Maryland
--From the Capital Beltway/I-495, take Exit 33 (MD-185/Connecticut Ave) southbound toward Chevy Chase.
--Continue on Connecticut Ave for approximately 6.5 miles.
--Turn right onto Woodley Road.
--The church is on the right.
From Virginia (I-395)
--Take I-395 North to Route 1 (Route 1 is the 14th Street Bridge).
--Merge to the far left lane on the 14th Street Bridge and follow the signs for 14th Street.
--Take 14th Street for 1 mile.
--Turn left onto K Street and continue on K Street for approximately 5 blocks.
--Turn right onto Connecticut Ave and follow Connecticut Ave for approximately 1 mile.
--Cross over the William Taft Bridge.
--Make a left turn at the 3rd light after the bridge onto Woodley Rd.
--The church is on the right.
From Virginia (I-66)
--Take I-66 East to Washington DC.
--Follow I-66 to the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge (US Route 50).
--Take the Constitution Ave exit off the bridge.
--Continue on Constitution Ave for 6 blocks.
--Turn left onto 17th Street. This will change to Connecticut Ave.
--Continue on Connecticut Ave for approximately 1 mile.
--Cross over the William Taft Bridge.
--Make a left turn at the 3rd light after the bridge onto Woodley Rd.
--The church is on the right.
Parking
St. Thomas Apostle Church does not have
a parking lot, and street parking can be tight.
On Sunday evenings, you can park for free
in the garage of the Wardman Park Merriott
Hotel (located right across the street from the
church)! Be sure to validate your parking ticket
with the St. Thomas stamp located in the church
vestibule.
